- I spent countless hours drawing and painting when I was a kid. You might call me an artistic "late bloomer", however. The daughter of an artist, I re-discovered my passion for art after taking a recreational painting class at the age of 43, and haven't looked back! I love the instantaneous nature of the pastel medium. There are an infinite number of subjects to explore. When painting, I never tire of trying to capture the magic of light and color and composition. I'm not always successful, but when I am it's one of the best feelings of accomplishment there is!
